Linkages with different stakeholders

The line departments usually adopt group approach for effective transfer of technology. Rohtas KVK believed hard working under the concept of networking. Thus, maintaining close linkages with their line department in the district, which is depicted in following ray diagram a strength of KVK, Rohtas.

In addition to giving training to the extension functionaries at the KVK, the Kendra also participates in Kisan Goshthi, training programmes and farmer’s fair organized by them .

In addition to this, our scientists are closely working with district and block level ATMA committees. Panchayat level Kisan Chaupals and other block level programme are attended by them. Hundred progressive farmers from each of the 19 blocks of the district were trained by the Kendra with the financial support of ATMA which helped the Kendra in making reach to every block in short span of time. Now these farmers from each block are serving as contact farmers for the Kendra. The details of linkage with different stockholders in last five years is given in following Tables :
